Blue Song was last week #7 on National Airplay Top 50 R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and # 12 on National Airplay Top 50 Independent Chart. Blue Song was last week #144 on National Airplay Top200 Chart for all genres from gospel to Hip-Hop.

Radio stations in five US states reported last week more than 100 weekly radio airplays. Most radio plays of Blue Song last week, 109, were on Party 105.5 in North Carolina.

A very exciting new single is released on June 9th 2014! Maini and the American rapper Magneto Dayo from Brooklyn, New York have released their first collaboration Blue Song. Dashawn Dayo Williams, better known by his stage name Magneto Dayo, contacted Maini and suggested a collaboration.

Magneto Dayo has written songs for some of today’s top artists in rap/hiphop and r&b and now plans to step from behind the scenes and show his talent.

Maini’s clear voice, Magneto Dayo’s brilliant rap and Gary Cornman‘s great lyrics blend together and create a perfect summer hit.

Maini has, as always, written the music. The remix is by Carsten Lehmann from Germany. The label behind the release is Reya music from Sweden.

Maini Sorri and Jörgen Hansson’s Moira video continues to triumph in America. Fine reports from the promoter TMG in Hollywood has flowed in since Moira single was released in March. Moira video has been shown in the TV show Brodian’s Basement in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Oregon.

Moira video has been in six episodes of the TV show The Sound Chamber at the Aurora channel 8 in Colorado. Now, the video has been in the PC Music‘s video pool that services commercial and retail outlets throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America. Among thousends of  clients are Four Season Hotels, Caesars Palace casino and the Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Moira video also rotates in Bowling Music Network that serves 500 bowling centers in the U.S. with music.

Moira video got its first showing on TV6 in the U.S. on May 4.
Moira is also in Pulse TV Network that provides content to major electronic stores, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and other retail outlets in California and Nevada.

Read this great review by LA Music Examiner in LA, USA: “Moira” is the new single by Finnish singer-songwriter Maini Sorri and Jörgen Hansson. Backed with “Moira (Instrumental Version)”, this is the most recent example of the Sweden-based Sorri’s pop signature sound. Writing since age 8, Sorri has had some time to polish her tuneful trademark performing her songs live as well as on TV and radio.

Released mere days ago “Moira” not only reveals her previous vocal training but also demonstrates she must have paid attention when she was a student of music theory and composition. It’s got a new yet not at all foreign sound to it. Sorri was happy to shed some light on the subject.

“Moira’ is a song about my young fan Moira. I gained her as a devoted fan when I sang at Swedish radio’s Song contest in Axevalla, Sweden. I told (American) Gary Cornman about the sweet six year old girl Moira and he surprised me by writing a poem about her that I then composed”. It was later remixed by Jörgen Hansson who also sang background vocals.

The second track is a simply the underlying instrumental. It allows the listener to focus on the actual music composition. The single’s recently released accompanying music video was directed by W.A. Henderson and stars Cindy Clark both from Hollywood, Los Angeles.
