\"I<\/a>The global radio Last.fm<\/a>\u00a0temporarily backs down from\u00a0charging listeners. They have received tons of negative feedback.\u00a0 The founder of Last.fm Richard Jones<\/a>\u00a0made\u00a0an annauncement on March 24th about starting to charge listeners that don’t live in USA, UK or Germany.<\/p>\n

I wrote\u00a0a message to Richard Jones and got an answer. It was of course a good thing. It is important that\u00a0the staff of Last.fm\u00a0listen to their 30 million monthly listeners and 280 000 artists and labels but the answer was only an explanation about why they\u00a0decided to\u00a0start charging\u00a0listeners.\u00a0 There\u00a0is now \u00a0a strike among listeners on Last.fm.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0March 30th\u00a0a new annauncement\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0by Richard Jones\u00a0was published.\u00a0 He\u00a0annaunced that\u00a0Last.fm is delaying their move of beginning to charge listeners.\u00a0It is good\u00a0although we must keep in mind that\u00a0this delaying is\u00a0just temporary.\u00a0We listeners and artists on Last-fm\u00a0must keep fighting against this negative change, hoping that it will never happen.<\/p>\n

Last.fm listeners are really the best listeners ever, many of them are listening to Last.fm all their awaken hours. I have never met listeners so devoted to music than on Last.fm. Last.fm has listeners from every country\u00a0in the world and is not only a huge global radio but also a\u00a0gigantic meeting place for music lovers\u00a0from different parts of the world,\u00a0recommending music\u00a0to each other.<\/p>\n
